It can be a real challenge out there, finding organic, cruelty free, legit beauty products out there that don’t break the bank! The more I learn about what goes into products, the pickier I become. When I saw this Lavender Water, it intrigued me because it says it is organic (my goal is to buy only organic items when possible), it is 100% pure (that speaks for itself), and it has no preservatives, which is another huge bonus for me, and it is not tested on animals. The listed ingredient is “100% pure, organic, natural Lavender floral water (Lavandula).” This is another bonus for me, as I do not like to buy things that have a bunch of ingredients, especially ones that I can’t even pronounce. I have been using this Lavender water as a toner over the past couple weeks. I even used it after getting a little too much sun on my face the other day. I do keep it in the refrigerator, as recommended on the bottle, and I love the refreshing feeling that I experience when putting it on straight from the fridge. I use it on a cotton ball to wipe on my face and neck after washing or as a refresher during the day. It has a light lavender smell that smells like actual lavender and not chemicals. It does not leave a sticky or gross feeling residue on my face. I have not had any negative reactions to this product. It says on the bottle, that you can also use it in your hair to treat dandruff, however I do not have a problem with dandruff so I have not used it for that. However, I will try it in my hair just for a nice scalp massage and then rinsed it out and washed as normal. I also like that it comes in a brown bottle to protect the ingredients from damage.
